He builds JVMTI agents, instruments bytecode, and investigates how the JVM handles memory and thread behavior. Marco frequently untangles class loader complexities. He teaches developers how to build Java agents from scratch and unpacks the internal mechanics of code hot-swapping and memory leaks in OpenJDK. Before focusing on observability tools, he built cloud video encoding pipelines with FFmpeg.
