# Marcus Ross
Cloud native lead bringing GitOps and compliance automation to the Port of Hamburg.

## About

Marcus Ross manages cloud infrastructure at the Hamburg Port Authority. He leads the Cloud Center of Excellence, where his team runs dozens of Kubernetes clusters handling production workloads across hybrid environments.

Taking a pragmatic approach to operations, he applies GitOps principles to keep port logistics running smoothly. Marcus focuses on bridging the gap between strict security mandates and everyday developer workflows.

He regularly shares technical blueprints for automating SBOM generation and compliance for the EU Cyber Resilience Act. He also helps maintain open-source Kubernetes tooling developed by the port.
