# Mary Grygleski
Technical advocate at AI Collective building multi-agent AI and event streaming systems in Java.

## About

Mary Grygleski builds generative AI and event streaming architectures as a technical advocate at AI Collective. Originally a Unix/C engineer, she moved to Java over two decades ago and focuses on multi-agent systems and real-time data workflows.

She explores how developers can adopt modern data pipelines. Her talk on [event messaging with Apache Pulsar](/videos/538-event-messaging-and-streaming-with-apache-pulsar) unpacks cloud-native scaling, while her session on [understanding vector search](/videos/844-enter-the-brave-new-world-of-genai-with-vector-search) details how to mitigate data staleness using RAG.

On the community side, Mary runs the local Chicago Java Users Group.
