# Matteo Collina
Platformatic co-founder and Node.js core contributor scaling server-side JavaScript.

## About

Matteo Collina builds tools that make server-side JavaScript faster. He is the co-founder of Platformatic, the lead maintainer of Fastify, and a member of the Node.js Technical Steering Committee.

His primary focus is dismantling the myth that Node.js is strictly single-threaded. Through his workshops and talks, Matteo teaches developers how to implement worker threads, unblock event loops, and scale concurrent apps to handle heavy CPU workloads without buckling.
