Merrill Lutsky builds tools that improve how developers work as the co-founder and CEO of Graphite. He focuses on making artificial intelligence genuinely useful for everyday engineering.

While building Graphite's AI code review companion, he ran thousands of tests to figure out which models actually understand software best. He shares this collected data to help developers bypass the hype and confidently choose the right models for real-world code comprehension.
