# Michele Giacobazzi

## About

Michele Giacobazzi builds software to help electrical grids handle the unpredictable nature of renewable energy. As a founder and CTO at WellD, he focuses on cloud-native architectures, automation, and data persistence for complex industrial networks.

He recently developed SPARklE, a microservice platform that manages renewable energy communities and energy flexibility markets. His work involves navigating deep engineering trade-offs, from multi-tenant PostgreSQL databases to scaling time-series data with TimescaleDB.

When he isn't smoothing out grid infrastructure, he serves on the program committee for Voxxed Days Ticino.
