## About

Mike Amundsen writes about network architecture and the changing relationship between technology and society. As an independent consultant, he works with teams globally to design sustainable API ecosystems.

He focuses on AI-augmented API design, composable service platforms, and human-machine collaboration. His recent work teaches developers how to use AI tools for generating OpenAPI documentation, automating security profiling, and writing test scripts.

Amundsen has authored multiple O'Reilly books, including *Design and Build Great APIs* and *Continuous API Management*. He is currently writing *AI-Driven API Design*.
