Mourjo Sen builds large-scale distributed systems at Booking.com. He has spent over a decade writing both object-oriented and functional code, focusing on keeping complex microservices maintainable as they evolve.

He spends a lot of time thinking about architectural entropy—the slow degradation of design intent as teams optimize for delivery speed. His latest work explores using executable diagrams to define and orchestrate service interactions, bridging the gap between human understanding and machine execution.

He regularly shares his engineering learnings on his personal blog.
