Niklas Harzheim is a founding member of OpenAI's team in Germany. He works on the mechanics of making artificial intelligence safe, reliable, and grounded in human ethics.

Rather than just looking at raw model capabilities, Niklas focuses on how we actually implement these systems in the real world. His work centers on "trust by design"—helping developers and organizations build responsible AI-powered services that prioritize safety from the ground up.
