As CTO at Pliant, he leads an engineering team of nearly 100 people creating systems for B2B payments and accounting. He focuses on making AI work reliably in environments where mistakes are expensive. Instead of treating language models as smart oracles, he designs them as highly constrained components rooted in structured financial data. Before Pliant, he engineered data-driven products at Zalando, figo, and Kreditech.
