## About

Petra Hasenau connects open-source communities and advocates for digital sovereignty. As the founder of Cybercraft GmbH, she works within the TYPO3 ecosystem to help organizations build systems focused on human control and collaboration.

She recently turned her attention to the hidden costs of AI acceleration. In her talk on [speeding up the wrong things](/videos/1930-a-true-story-about-speeding-up-the-wrong-things), she breaks down why autonomous agents multiply architectural chaos and how teams can regain steering control.

Outside the tech bubble, she shares digital storytelling and family recipes on her YouTube channel, Petra Likes Cooking.
