Piotr Bejda leads storage engineering at Blacksmith. He focuses on data-driven optimizations and building reliable foundations for massive cloud workloads.

Previously, he shaped multi-purpose storage architecture as a Tech Lead for Colossus at Google. He also built eBPF-based live cloud debuggers for compiled languages at Datadog. His talks cover high-level architecture for scheduling and caching, exploring why continuous integration needs dedicated infrastructure to handle unpredictable volume spikes and custom storage demands.
