## About

Poornima Nayak leads product development for IBM Bob, focusing on modernizing mainframes with AI. Over her two decades at IBM, she has built systems across the Linux Technology Center, cloud infrastructure, and AI on IBM Power and Z platforms.

She focuses on making AI assistants more reliable using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to ground models in real organizational data. Her talks break down the architecture, design decisions, and implementation realities of building these enterprise tools.

Based in Bengaluru, Poornima organizes neighborhood cleanliness drives and was recognized as a Swachatha Champion by her city for community service.
