# Rustam Mehmandarov
Principal Engineer at MILES building resilient Java APIs and cloud architectures.

## About

Rustam Mehmandarov builds enterprise architectures and backend systems. Currently a Principal Engineer and Cloud Lead at MILES, he focuses on writing clean, scalable serverless Java applications.

His work moves beyond basic CRUD logic to tackle the real challenges of production-grade API design. He regularly breaks down complex topics, from Jakarta EE microservices to building generative AI tools for Java developers using [Vertex AI and LangChain4j](https://codelabs.developers.google.com/codelabs/gemini-java-developers).

Based in Norway, Rustam is a Java Champion, Google Developer Expert, and former leader of the Norwegian Java User Group.
