## About

Sam Bhagwat builds developer tools for humans and machines. He currently leads Mastra, an open-source TypeScript framework for creating AI agents. Before this, he co-founded Gatsby, a web framework used by hundreds of thousands of developers.

He focuses on how software development changes when AI agents start reading documentation, operating platforms, and shipping code. His work explores the shift from human-centric interfaces to platforms operated by software, a topic he breaks down in his book, *Principles of Building AI Agents*.
