Sam Jarvinen helps engineering teams adopt AI coding agents and DevSecOps at GitHub. He has spent his career supporting developers across almost every corner of software, from mobile apps to managing the Perforce service for Microsoft's game studios.

Before focusing on AI and automation, he stood up GitHub Enterprise inside Microsoft and worked on military-grade systems in Europe. Today, he explores how developers can let agents handle routine code changes, allowing engineering teams to ship faster without giving up control over security and architecture.
