Distributed systems engineer at Salesforce building true multi-cloud portability.

## About

Sandeep Pal builds distributed systems and shapes multi-cloud architecture at Salesforce. His main focus is making applications run natively across AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud without getting tangled in vendor-specific code. Before this, he optimized Apache Spark infrastructure at Snapchat to save tens of millions in server costs.

He is the creator of MultiCloudJ, an open-source Java SDK that standardises deployments. His [article on MultiCloudJ](https://dzone.com/articles/multicloudj-cloud-agnostic-applications-java) breaks down how to decouple business logic from underlying providers. He also contributes code to Apache HBase and GoCloud.dev.
