Taroon Mandhana builds AI and teamwork tools at Atlassian, where he serves as CTO. He oversees the engineering teams behind core products like Jira, Confluence, and Loom, while driving the development of the company's AI platform, Rovo.

He focuses on how artificial intelligence reshapes the engineering lifecycle. His talks cover everything from developers managing multi-agent systems to the realities of AI ROI and token spend. Before Atlassian, Taroon spent over a decade leading search and recommendation products at Microsoft and Meta.

Based in the Pacific Northwest, Taroon spends his free time hiking with his family.
