## About

Thomas Weinschenk builds edge foundations for the process industry at Endress+Hauser. He makes applications and devices communicate inside control cabinets, turning fragile lab demos into reliable field deployments. As Co-Lead of the Open Edge Computing workgroup at the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance, he focuses on open standards over tool marketing.

He creates practical patterns for bringing cloud operations to constrained environments. When he speaks about running Kubernetes on edge devices, he focuses on the guardrails that help engineering teams manage intermittent networks without committing to a single vendor.
