Tolga Sümer is a Senior Software Engineer at Pliant, where he brings AI into the rigid world of B2B payments and accounting. He designs workflows that treat LLMs as untrusted components, ensuring high-stakes financial data stays accurate and secure.

Before shifting to AI, he spent years building large-scale backend systems, APIs, and high-throughput data pipelines for telecom and enterprise software. Based in Berlin, Tolga got his start exploring game development and computer vision.
