# Tom Wheeler
Software engineer and educator helping teams build crash-proof systems at Temporal.

## About

Tom Wheeler writes software and teaches developers how to build reliable systems. Before joining Temporal, he coded aerospace engineering tools at OCI, built high-volume data processors for WebMD, and created technical curriculum for Cloudera.

Today, he focuses on durable execution. His workshops strip away the complexity of distributed computing, showing teams how to build Java and Go applications that survive service outages, hardware failures, and network drops.

When he steps away from the keyboard, you can find him cooking, traveling, or playing guitar.
