## About

Ulrich-Matthias Schäfer writes open-source code and works as an independent web consultant. He builds and maintains the vector graphics library svg.js, turning his early programming hobby into his daily work.

His primary focus is making the JavaScript ecosystem lighter and faster. As an active contributor to the e18e (Ecosystem Performance) initiative, he strongly advocates for replacing bloated dependencies to reduce overall overhead and improve developer efficiency.

When he is not tackling legacy code or wrangling heavy node_modules, he considers himself a dedicated Vue fanboy.
