Ume Habiba is a full-stack engineer and educator focused on tech mentorship and diversity. A first-generation undergraduate at the University of Maryland, she explores how different roles—from research to the gaming industry—fit overlapping skillsets.

Her career stems from a process of trial and error. Ume helps early-career developers navigate a massive industry landscape, speaking frequently on how to map personal interests to specific technical roles.

Currently, she interns at Cisco Meraki and supports curriculum and logistics for Kode With Klossy.
