Veit Heller builds products and advises technical teams. Though his career often pushes him toward management, he stays close to the code, drawing on 15 years of shipping software and publishing research.

He focuses on programming language mechanics and finding better ways to catch bugs before production. In his talks, he breaks down unusual type systems—like Rust's affine ownership and Agda's dependent types—into practical mental models that developers can use without needing a computer science degree.
