## About

Volker Zoepfel leads the One Developer Journey at Schwarz IT, where he focuses on a straightforward goal: letting developers actually write code in enterprise environments. He built his first internet applications in 1995 and has stayed close to the daily realities of software engineering ever since.

Volker argues against measuring teams by lines of code or feature counts. Instead, he advocates for making traditional performance metrics obsolete. He champions a model where business and engineering teams work side by side, replacing distant measurements with active support and trust.
