2Your details

Your logo

3What are you announcing?

This sets the headline on your graphic.

4Photo

Crowd shots read best in a feed. Each photo shows where it was taken, so only ever caption it with that place. Speakers and attendees can use their own photo instead.

5Post and email text

Six moments between now and the follow-up. Pick one, add a sentence in your own words, copy it out. Keep the line breaks.

6Your website or events-page listing

For your own site, events page or Luma/Meetup listing. Around 100 to 140 words reads well.

Brand basics

Short version. If you’re unsure, ask your WeAreDevelopers contact before you post.

Do

  • Tag WeAreDevelopers and use #WeAreDevs.
  • Rewrite the “in your own words” part every time. Posts that read as templates get ignored.
  • Use the event registration link in the generated copy.
  • Post your own photos on the day. A selfie at the booth beats any template.

Don’t

  • Caption a photo with a different city than the one shown under it.
  • Recolour, stretch or redraw the WeAreDevelopers or event logo.
  • Quote attendee or speaker numbers unless WeAreDevelopers has published them.
