Your responsibilities

WeAreDevelopers is seeking a Lead Designer to take ownership of our brand and visual identity, drive the evolution of our designs and coordinate a small team to support our marketing and event activities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in digital, print, web, and video design and will be responsible for creating concepts for new marketing and event formats, as well as coordinating the visual aspect of our current events and platforms.

  • Develop and evolve the WeAreDevelopers brand and visual identity
  • Create concepts for marketing campaigns and event formats and designs
  • Lead the visual aspects of the WeAreDevelopers World Congress event
  • Coordinate a small team of in-house designers, freelancers and agencies
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure design consistency across all platforms and activities

Your profile

  • 3+ years of experience in digital, print, web, and video design
    - preferably skilled in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Diverse portfolio of work showcasing a range of design skills and styles
  • Experience in leading a small team or freelancers
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • English – must, German – plus
