AEM Technical Architect / Lead Developer (w/m/x) at IBM iX


  • You have studied computer science or a comparable course of education
  • You have at least 4 years of experience in Java Web development
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS implementations are a must
  • Experience with other tools (Campaign, Analytics, Target) from the Adobe Experience Cloud is an advantage
  • Adobe certified AEM Developer, Dev/Ops, or Architect is an advantage
  • Experience acting as a subject matter expert and forming close connections with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • You know how to create and present architecture overview, use-case, state machine, sequence, activity, and component diagrams
  • You can coach the delivery team in writing Unit and Integration Tests
  • You have good presentation and communication skills
  • You ensure code quality using Static Code Analysis and Continuous Integration tools like SonarQube and Jenkins
  • You enjoy open feedback and learning opportunities from the Peer Review process on Bitbucket or GitHub

Scope of Work

  • You write clean, maintainable, testable, and understandable code
  • You drive unit and integrations testing within your project team
  • You passionately strive towards quality and great user-experience
  • You develop the technical concept with your project team and present it to our client
  • You work closely with the product owner and the client team on backlog topics, acceptance criteria, and user stories
  • You lead and mentor the development team, provide guidelines and open feedback
  • You are the first contact for the development team for critical technical questions and support them hands-on if necessary
  • You facilitate workshops for technical topics with your project team and/or the client team
  • You take care of non-functional system requirements including security, maintainability, availability, etc.
