Software Architect (m/f/d) at ZF Group

Requirements

  • Completed university studies in engineering in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable
  • Knowledge and experience in the areas of embedded software development as well as requirements analysis and architecture modeling using UML desirable
  • Very good comprehension skills, analytical and structured way of working as well as ability to work independently in a team
  • Experience in using the necessary tools (e.g. DOORS, Rhapsody) desirable
  • Business fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

Scope of Work

  • You will design the software architecture for current as well as future electromechanical passenger car brake systems (e.g. ABS/ESC, elec. parking brake, elec. brake booster, etc.) in the area of customer experienceable functional software.
  • You analyze and understand the product- and customer-specific software requirements including requirements resulting from the areas of cyber security and functional safety according to ISO26262
  • You define the architecture strategy of the customer-experience functional software with regard to new technological challenges, such as automated driving and e-mobility
  • You will work equally in the environment of agile concept developments as well as process-driven high volume products in the context of worldwide customer projects
  • You work in a global team in close coordination with colleagues at other ZF locations worldwide
