Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in engineering with focus on computer science, vehicle engineering, control engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or equal
- Several years of experience in automotive software architecture design
- Detailed knowledge of design principles, architecture and design patterns
- Detailed knowledge of software architecture design and systems engineering necessary; System know-how and knowledge of the domain Vehicle Motion Control
- Fluent English language skills, German would be a benefit and ability to work independently with a distinct „hands-on“ mentality
Scope of Work
- Assess and strategically plan the architectural options for development of ZF’s vehicle motion control software cubiX
- Coordinate research and consultation activities to find, create or apply the appropriate architecture for the cubiX SW product
- Support portfolio management planning between the VMC system house and ZF Divisions
- Manage architectural variants, decide on target design and document the design decisions
- Lead a team of SW architects within the project
