Requirements

  • You have successfully completed your studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, robotics or a comparable discipline.
  • You have  at least 4 years of professional experience in development of applications and products in the area of Machine Vision with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or other relevant areas of Artificial Intelligence.
  • Major Deep Learning frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar,  are part of your daily toolbox. Furthermore you have excellent coding and debugging skills in Python and/or C++.
  • You love to inspire other people and convince them of your vision. By providing guidance you succeed in developing your colleagues’ technical skills.
  • Fluency in English completes your profile

Scope of Work

Shape Stryker’s technology roadmap for in-house Machine Vision!


  • You will be part of our international and interdisciplinary Sensing Technologies team in the area of robotic assisted surgery.
  • You will be responsible for the technology roadmap as well as its implementation in the area of Machine Vision and expand the area to technology leadership.
  • For our image-based localization and image evaluation components, you will accompany the entire development process from the idea to series production.
  • Your activities will include requirements analysis in the application environment, conceptual design and the resulting implementation with the required regulated documentation of the development results.
  • In your function, you will work closely with other internal and international teams as well as external partners and institutes and form a central interface to our team.
