Lead Software Architect (f/m/d) at Cornelsen eCademy & inside GmbH

• You have several years of development experience, including specification, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You are familiar with DevOps-driven software development and release processes, automated software testing procedures, and quality gates for CI/CD pipelines. 
• Your expertise includes software architecture, specifically design methodology, software modeling, analysis, and design with consideration of security and scale. 
• You think in solutions, not in problems 
• You have a strong background in cloud-based web application design and development using cloud providers (PaaS or IaaS). 
• You are experienced in most of the following technologies: TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, and React. 
• You communicate clearly and effectively in both German and English. 

 
Nice to have: 

• Ideally, you have already been part of a migration of tech solutions into a scalable product solution that is built with high levels of interoperability.

What you will do:  

• You play a crucial leadership role in shaping the digital future of our existing product solution, in collaboration with experts from diverse domains. 
• Starting from our existing product solutions, your mission is to design our new integrated learning platform. In collaboration with experts from diverse domains, you translate product strategy and business requirements into technical structure. You ensure that our systems and applications are scalable, maintaining an iterative architectural style and always keeping a critical eye on product quality. 
• You collaborate closely with our development teams and you foster architectural competence among them. This includes participating as a co-developer in development teams, providing mentorship and guidance, and driving quality of implementation and documentation through code and document reviews. 
• You connect different stakeholders and interests, and prioritize with a strong focus on business outcomes. Your decisions are based on data and actual product needs.
