Requirements

Your core competencies

Work experience in Python / Linux / Bash
Work experience in Virtual Machines / Cloud Environments / Docker
Work experience with Security guidelines, CI/CD pipelines
In-depth understanding of databases (esp. PostgreSQL)
Experience in Agile Methodology and usage of JIRA & Confluence

Nice to have

Basic knowledge in Data Models / DWH
2+ years of experience as a Software Architect/Lead Developer
Experience in Product Ownership, Project management
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a software-engineering related area; or any related certification(s)

Scope of Work

As a software architect you are responsible for multiple technical streams like Tooling, Cloud Services, Security or Infrastructure in a data related environment. You are guiding and supporting an agile platform team and taking care of the backlog and stakeholders. You will be part of a department within the RBI Group IT GmbH that takes care of all the Data requests from the Raiffeisen Building Society Savings and Loans ("Raiffeisen Bausparkasse").

Your mission

Design, develop and implement solutions & improvements together with your team
Direct contact person for other Data Feature Teams & Stakeholders
Backlog Management & Maintenance on a technical level in a cross-functional team
Know the quality standards and state of the art technology we use
Mentoring the team members as an experienced Software Architect
Active involvement in community of practices and guild meetings
