Full Stack Engineer

• Full Stack Engineer role leading the current team and driving continuous product and data model improvements for instant carbon insights.
• Requires strong interest in product building for complex data models and diverse data integrations.
• Involves reviewing tech stack decisions, logic, integrations, and assessing components for scalability, data quality, security, and audit trail.

• Full-time hybrid role based in Rotterdam, with 2–3 days per week in the office.

You will be 

• Be responsible for our Climax product and data model and future integrations by envisioning a target architecture
• Help create the right building blocks that will keep our model as scalable as possible
• Have a sensitivity to clean coding, adherence to best practices, CI/CD and peer upskilling
• Introduce robust automated QA tooling

• Intrinsic motivation to work in climate tech
• Masters degree in Econometrics, Computer Science, A.I., or a comparable field
• At least 7+ years of experience in a software/data engineering role
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL
• Mastery of software engineering best practices (version control, testing, code quality, CICD)
• Experience on orchestration tools such as Airflow and dbt
• Hands on experience on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) environment; preferably on most of the following: Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Monitoring & Logging, Beam, Tentacles and Pub/Sub
• Staying at the forefront of the Data & AI landscape
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
