trinamiX GmbH, based in Ludwigshafen, was founded in 2015 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of BASF SE. We have the spirit of start-up company while being backed by a one of the biggest companies in the world. Our 180-strong team works independently in operational terms and at the same time we rely on the security, competencies and experience of the BASF Group.

TrinamiX has developed its own system for 3D imaging and material classification. The big vision: To create improved decision making and security through unique sensor technologies that understand the hidden data around us. TrinamiX works with large smartphone and automotive groups and integrates its own systems into the respective products.
