Job description

We are looking to expand our team with a Senior Principal Digital IC Design Engineer with experience in the development of digital control peripherals, MCU/ DSP systems, as well as hardware accelerators IPs. You will develop and benchmark such IPs and systems and consult the product integration teams during the integration of these solutions into semiconductor products. As senior engineer you will mentor younger engineers and drive project activities., What You'll Do

  • Drive improvements in design methodology, design flow, design quality, ensuring robust and reliable IP and module development
  • Lead project activities and mentor less experienced engineers
  • Architect, specify, implement, simulate, and benchmark digital control peripherals, MCU/ DSP systems, as well as hardware accelerators IPs
  • Work closely with the product integration teams in the requirements definition.

Requirements

What You'll Need

  • MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
  • At least 15 years of relevant work experience in semiconductor product development
  • Strong quality awareness, experience in driving design quality aspects (DFMEA, design releases) and methodology improvements
  • Experience with digital control peripherals, MCU/ DSP systems, as well as hardware accelerators IPs
  • RTL design of digital IP blocks and systems in SystemVerilog/Verilog
  • Experience in technical project/task leadership
  • Knowledge of design intents (timing constraints/SDC, power intent/UPF)
  • Strong technical document writing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Eligibility to work in Switzerland

  • RTL to GDS flow, including logic synthesis, place-and-route, STA, power analysis
  • Design of signal processing components
  • Advanced digital verification methodology (e.g. UVM)
  • Knowledge of French
