Job description
- Receiving, analyzing, and processing of incident reports and problems in hardware and software areas
- Management, tracking, and evaluation of support requests as well as escalation of complex cases to 2nd level or specialists
- Acceptance and implementation of change requests in cooperation with internal and external partners
- Consulting and supporting users in IT technical matters, communication issues, and data security
- Performing first logins and providing IT hardware (notebooks, smartphones, docking stations, monitors, peripherals)
- Maintenance and support of internal systems and applications as well as management of user rights (Active Directory, M365, DT SSP Portal)
- Creation and maintenance of user manuals, IT documentation, and the internal knowledge database
- Participation in infrastructure, rollout, and IT security projects
- Opportunity to independently lead smaller IT projects or subprojects
- Conducting function tests and quality assurance of new application functions
Requirements

Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or equivalent training with further education in the IT field

Several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) in IT support (1st and 2nd level)

Solid knowledge in: Windows client and server systems, Microsoft Office / M365 Active Directory, group management, permission administration Network technology (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Microsoft Exchange

Basic knowledge in IT security (access rights, endpoint protection, awareness)

Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (Azure, O365 admin) is an advantage

Knowledge in IT service management (ITIL, incident, problem, change management)

Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, OTRS) as well as documentation and ticket processing

Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style

Very good communication and teamwork skills

Language skills: fluent German, good English skills
