Robotics and Network Integration Engineer - Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer focused on IT/OT for Machine Integration, to act as a liaison between Tesla Automation (Prüm, Germany) and Tesla IT. Tesla Automation designs and builds world-class, modular manufacturing machines. Key success criteria for this role will be how quickly and reliably the machinery integrates into Tesla factories globally.

A successful candidate must be a top-notch communicator, able to plan strategically, and execute effectively. What You'll Do

• Design for Operations and Sustaining: Lead discussions about integration and long-term support for new machine design, ensuring adequate coexistence with IT ecosystems
• OT/IT Integration: Define strategies for monitoring and sustaining edge switches that interconnect the Tesla Automation machines with Tesla IT; explore topics around Siemens Scalance device management and monitoring, Sinec NMS experimentation, and Tesla's internal switch management tools
• Torque tool integration (Deprag automated tools): Own the tools that control software and integration; lead internal architectural reviews, security reviews, virtualisation approaches, etc.
• Define strategy for softPLC management: Lead discussions about implementation and sustaining topics such as platform, backup, and versioning
• Lead BLE condition monitoring implementation
• Global Tesla Automation logistics: Manage GPS tracking of high-value machine assets through various platforms

Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Robotics, or Industrial) with 2 to 3 or more years of work experience in engineering

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
• Analytical, capable of gathering data from various sources, drawing inferences, and envisioning a strategy
• Strong attention to detail
