Job description
As Technology Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and integration of electronic systems and software solutions across multiple programs. Your role ensures that technology roadmaps align with business objectives, engineering requirements, and innovation goals. You will manage cross-functional teams and subcontractors, driving excellence in design, implementation, and lifecycle management of electronics and embedded software systems., * Define and maintain technology roadmaps for electronics and software, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and program needs
- Identify emerging technologies and assess their applicability to current and future projects
- Oversee the design, development, and integration of electronic hardware and software components
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance processes
- Manage lifecycle activities from concept through qualification and deployment
- Define technical requirements and deliverables for subcontractors in electronics and software development
- Coordinate system-level integration of electronics and software components across multiple domains
- Define and implement verification strategies to ensure functional and performance compliance
- Foster collaboration between hardware, software, and systems engineering teams
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field
- Several years of experience in electronics and software development, including experience in a leadership role
- Expertise in electronic hardware design, embedded systems, and software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS), FPGA design, and microcontroller platforms
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles for embedded systems and networked electronics
- Experience with standards such as DO-178C, IEC 61508, ECSS, or ISO 26262
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
