Job description

While reporting to the Manager, Global HR Technology - Workday, you will serve as a subject matter expert and technical point-of-contact for Workday to ensure data integrity, configuration & testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. You will support the on-going administration, maintenance, and management of Sonoco's HRIS (Workday) in addition to other HR related systems. You will provide support to the Global HR Team and will also assist in maintaining Workday documentation while providing great customer service to our user base., * Assist the HR Technology Team in supporting Workday configuration roadmap, releases, and continued adoption

  • Maintain and update internal HRIS procedure documentation
  • Work closely with HR Services team to help support Workday user requests
  • Assist in supporting internal analytics dashboards
  • Assist in providing support to HR Centers of Excellence
  • Correspond regularly with global HR team for updates/issues/resolutions
  • Other projects as assigned

Requirements

Do you have experience in Workday?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required

  • 4+ years of experience with HCM systems is preferred
  • 2+ years of Workday experience in one or more of the following functional areas is preferred (Workday Payroll, Workday Learning, Workday Talent, Workday Compensation, Workday Benefits)
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting tools is highly desired
  • Experience working in a global organization is highly desired
  • We'd like you to have a process/technology mindset with the ability to problem solve
  • A desire to grow your career within the HR Technology space is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage complex tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under high-pressure situations.
  • Strong collaborative mindset with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.

This is a progression position and could be a level I, II, III or IV. Compensation and progression level will be based on candidate's experience and education, and current business needs.
