Job description
As Chapter Lead Front-End, you'll play a dual role - balancing hands-on technical contributions with people leadership. You'll lead a chapter of skilled front-end developers, providing guidance, coaching and support in their personal and professional development, and building a strong chapter culture.
- Setting and driving best practices in front-end development across teams.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in front-end development, ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, integrating them into the team's workflow where applicable.
- Collaborating closely with product owners, designers, and back-end developers to deliver high-quality, scalable applications.
- Supporting chapter members through regular 1-on-1's, feedback cycles, and career growth planning.
- Bring your voice into architectural decisions, align with other Chapter Leads to maintain technical consistency and foster innovation across the organization.
Requirements
- An inventive approach
- Proven leadership skills, * Proven experience in a leadership role within front-end development, preferably as a Chapter Lead or similar.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries like Vue.js, React or Angular.
- Experience with front-end build tools and version control systems, such as Webpack, npm, and Git.
- Solid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with back-end technologies and RESTful APIs.
- Experience in performance optimization and front-end testing frameworks.

The gross monthly salary is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
