Job description
As an Infrastructure Platform Engineer at Intergas, part of Rheem Europe, you'll work from Coevorden on the European IT infrastructure. You'll contribute to projects and support across multiple countries and systems. The Infrastructure Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining core IT infrastructure platforms. This includes both on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance to support business-critical applications such as ERP (Dynamics 365), MES (Tulip), and BI platforms. In this role, you'll contribute to the modernization of legacy systems, support network upgrades, and help implement digital workplace solutions such as zero-touch device deployment and Microsoft Teams Phone. You'll collaborate with international teams in the US and across Europe, and occasionally travel to support cross-border initiatives., * Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure platforms (compute, storage, network, virtualization, cloud).
- Oversee and improve endpoint management solutions for device lifecycle and security compliance.
- Monitor and optimize performance, capacity, and availability across hybrid environments.
- Provide 3rd-line support for workplace technologies and remote access solutions.
- Ensure compliance with NIS2, ISO27001, and GDPR.
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Collaborate with ERP, MES, BI teams and external vendors to align infrastructure standards.
Requirements

You're comfortable with both project work (60%) and operational support (40%), and open to occasional travel (approx. 10%)., * MBO or HBO-level education in IT or related field.
- 5+ years experience in infrastructure engineering.
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Hyper-V, Azure.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell) and networking knowledge.
- Full-time availability (40 hours/week preferred); fluent in English (Dutch or German is a plus).
