Job description

As a network engineer you will manage and support our networking and unified communications infrastructure including routers, SD-WAN, switches, firewalls, wireless networks and enterprise voice and telephony systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and optimising these systems to ensure high performance and reliability., * Design, implementation, and optimisation of large-scale networking solutions to ensure high availability, scalability and performance

  • Maintain and optimise the network infrastructure and workload scheduling environment
  • Conceptualise and implement network solutions, including international LAN/WLAN infrastructure
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver efficient and reliable network solutions
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting on network infrastructure
  • Support the development and improvement of operational processes and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering etc. and 3+ years of experience in network engineering, with a successful track record of leading large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Hands-on experience with TCP/UDP protocols and strong understanding of end-to-end packet flow
  • Experience with VoIP and telephony systems (both SaaS and on-premises)
  • Familiarity with IP telephony and VoIP technologies
  • Experience managing a CDN (preferably Cloudflare)
  • Strong network security skills, especially with Check Point firewalls
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform
  • Familiarity with cloud-based networking, preferably in Azure environments
  • Understanding of Kubernetes networking fundamentals
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to travel for work
