Job description
The Lead IT Technology & Platform Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing the infrastructure operations within designated facilities. This role ensures all IT infrastructure -including IT networks, telecommunications, hosting, data centers, and facilities- operates efficiently and complies with company policies & industry standards., * As face of IT T&PE in the factories and labs, keep our customers informed about product portfolio, roadmap and specific planned activities affecting them as well as collecting their feedback on product value, effectiveness and plans affecting our products and services.
- Work in coordination with the IT T&PE Product teams to deploy, maintain and develop our infrastructure in the factory,
- Perform coordination role in global & local IT T&PE and manufacturing projects. Actively participate in all local IT infrastructure projects enforcing correct adoption of our products, methodologies, standards, and guidelines, to ensure quality of delivered work and alignment to project requirements, they are executed according to agreed scopes, budgets, plans and resources. Proactive follow-up of execution and communication to customers on project status.
- Manage local budgets with product teams, oversee vendors, contracts, and procurement activities, and ensure IT T&PE spending on equipment and services meets agreed targets.
- Lead and execute hands-on for last mile of local infrastructure tasks and operations (including incident, change, and problem management) according to the operational model.
- Manage local infrastructure contractors and global vendor representatives, keeping a strong relationship with the support teams to achieve effective end-to-end service delivery.
- Act as escalation point for critical incidents or deliverables not matching customer needs, provide guidance to first level end user support teams.
- Ensure that our infrastructure is updated and secure, adhering to Cybersecurity requirements while reducing vulnerabilities
Requirements
Do you have experience in Security?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Lead IT Infrastructure, with factory scope and comprehensive knowledge of IT Infrastructure, processes and services,
- Strong technical knowledge of networking, hosting, endpoint management, while being able to translate technical concepts into business-focused solutions,
- Mature project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment,
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, resource planning, vendor management, contract management,
- Strong experience in stakeholder management and ability to manage escalations,
- Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration management skills,
- Experience with Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans for IT Infra services
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure management
- Fluency in spoken and written English

- Experience in manufacturing processes and systems in a factory-based environment,
- Training, Certifications, or credentials in the following areas: Networking (CCNA), Service management (ITIL), Project Management (PMP, other), Agile (Scrum, Jira, Other), AWS Cloud Practitioner,
- Knowledge in Security vulnerability management (Application of patches, coordination of external teams, definition of actions, and preparation of action plan)
