Software Asset Management

We are looking for a specialist in the area of software asset management and lifecycle team at an enterprise level. The ideal candidate will posses a deep understanding of software management practices , license agreements and vendor relationships.

The identified member will play a pivotal role in optimizing software usage, ensuring compliance and have deep understanding of organization's software ecosystem. The responsibilities are:

• Extensive Software licensing knowledge of various publishers and license metrics
• Ensure compliance status for multiple vendors is up to date in SAM tool for your portfolio
• Conducts internal reviews (audits) on selected software vendors to ensure they are 'audit ready.'
• Maintain up to date expertise with vendor licensing requirements, terms and options
• Research new license types and trends that may impact the organization
• Analyze monthly usage reports
• Manages the SAM team
• Monitors compliance
• Point of contact for any SAM or licensing related questions
• Service Desk Ticket analyses
• Contribution towards Service Improvements

• Understanding of different SAM Tools in order to implement vendor software license compliance (knowledge of Flexera will be an added advantage).
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with objective of delivering a positive customer experience.
• Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships, work independently and influence individuals at all level in a matrixed management environment.
• Programming and automation skills is added advantage
