• Work closely with product managers, underwriters, and operations to align technology with business goals.

We're seeking a highly capable and hands-on Enterprise Solution Architect to lead the design and development of Vave's technology platform. This role requires a strong engineering background, a solid grasp of insurance systems, and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Prior experience designing & building scalable, cloud-native insurance applications within the Azure ecosystem is required for this role., * Technical Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture, API-first design, and event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Azure Functions, App Services, Azure DevOps, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Insurance Domain Knowledge o Detailed understanding of insurance workflows and systems o Experience integrating with or building insurance platforms and data models. o Exposure to US property catastrophe (cat) risk modelling platforms and data sources.

• Startup Experience

• Proven success in a fast-paced (or Insurtech) environment.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting to rapid change, and collaborating across diverse teams.

• Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to mentor and influence across teams., * Solutions Architect certification or equivalent.

• Experience with enterprise architecture modelling tools
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in insurance (e.g. GDPR, Solvency II, Lloyd's standards).
