Job description

Working independently, you will be able to multi task and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

· Undertaking a wide range of admin support duties including organising staff rota's and patient appointments

· Schedule visits to patients on behalf of clinicians

· Provide general and administrative support to the team and the PCN service

· Receive and distribute incoming and outgoing mail in a timely manner.

· Providing admin support for meetings, collating agenda items, issuing agendas and papers and taking informal and formal minutes.

· Setting up, updating and maintaining action logs for meetings.

· Be a point of contact, receiving general enquiries from patients in person, by telephone and electronically.

· Collect patient and staff feedback, comments and complaints

· Carry out daily building, health and safety checks and log on IT system

Requirements

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, A flexible role has arisen for a highly motivated and proficient Administrative Assistant to join Copeland PCN. This is a broad and fast paced role delivering high level proactive, professional and confidential personal administrative service to the PCN team., You will be organised and conscientious with the ability to work under pressure, planning workloads to meet deadlines. A common sense approach to work is important, as well as being able to handle sensitive information in a professional manner.

The post holder will be highly competent in using Microsoft Office, in particular Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. The post requires excellent communication and organisational skills and for the successful candidate to work effectively in a close team setting, having the ability to prioritise their own workload and work flexibly in response to changing team needs.
