Job description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and system administration, with a focus on automation, continuous integration, and cloud infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our deployment processes and ensuring the reliability of our applications across various environments., * Collaborate with development and operations teams to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for software deployment.

  • Utilise tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform for containerisation and orchestration of applications.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Implement monitoring solutions using New Relic, Splunk, or similar tools to track application performance and system health.
  • Conduct system testing and software troubleshooting to identify issues and improve system performance.
  • Develop scripts using languages such as Python, Bash (Unix shell), or PowerShell for automation of routine tasks.
  • Engage in incident management and response to ensure minimal downtime during outages.
  • Maintain documentation for processes related to software development life cycle (SDLC), release management, and disaster recovery plans.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Weblogic?, * Proficiency in programming languages including Java, Python, Ruby, C#, or Go.

  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of databases including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, DynamoDB, or Oracle.
  • Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN configurations.
  • Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex systems effectively.
  • Familiarity with web servers like NGINX or Apache Tomcat and application servers like Weblogic or JBoss.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs is advantageous.
