Job description
This newly created role will support the Digital & Transformation Lead in delivering the PCN's digital and operational priorities. The postholder will provide IT support, assist with reporting and audits, and contribute to the smooth running of digital systems and projects across the PCN. This role is ideal for someone with strong IT skills and a working knowledge of NHS primary care is desirable, but not essential, as full training can be provided. This role will involve travel across PCN sites., Digital & IT Support
Provide first-line IT support to PCN staff, resolving or escalating issues as appropriate.
Assist with the deployment, maintenance, and optimisation of digital tools and systems.
Support digital transformation initiatives, including training and onboarding staff to new platforms.
Liaise with external IT providers and NHS Digital teams to resolve technical issues.
Reporting & Audit
Collate and submit data for PCN reporting requirements (e.g., IIF, DES, QOF).
Assist in preparing audit documentation and ensuring compliance with NHS standards.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to data quality improvement efforts.
Operational Support
Support the coordination of PCN-wide projects and initiatives.
Assist with meeting preparation, documentation, and follow-up actions.
Help maintain and update operational procedures and digital resources.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Primary care?, · Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital platforms.
· Experience in data handling, reporting, or audit processes.
· Excellent organisational and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
· Understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles.

Desirable Criteria
· Experience working in NHS primary care or a healthcare setting.
· Familiarity with clinical systems (e.g., EMIS).
· Knowledge of NHS digital transformation programmes and reporting frameworks.
