Job description
- Use SolidWorks to design equipment in the heavy engineering and material processing industry
- Undertake large stationary and mobile projects without assistance or guidance
- Design equipment using advanced 3D modelling with attention to detail
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials to support manufacturing processes.
- Identify any mechanical issues throughout the design and manufacturing processes, implementing effective solutions to overcome challenges.
Requirements
- Be proficient in SolidWorks
- HND or a degree in an engineering-related subject
- 4+ years in designing heavy equipment for material processing
- Have experience in leading design projects, desired but not essential
